Angelique Katerina Jiménez
Content Creator of Take Heart

Hello! I am a wife, the mother of two daughters (so far!), and a current Theology student. I also work in Catholic Religious Education, and I love every minute of it!
Being a cradle-Catholic, I will never forget my Mom telling me that converts tend to be more on fire for the Faith than Catholics who have known the Faith their whole lives. I set out to change that, starting with myself, and now I hope to help other Catholics realize the beauty of our Faith, and God’s power to fulfill all their heart’s desires and more.
On my blog, you will find me pointing out the wonder and humor of life, and God’s working hand in what may seem ordinary and familiar on the surface.
Some Fun Facts About Me
- I have never been stung by a bee.
- I CANNOT stand crumbs on my bed (no breakfast in bed, thank you!)
- I enjoy crafting and spontaneous mini-adventures.
- I also have – arguably – one of the most international names in the world: Angelique (French) Katerina (German) Francesca (Italian) Jimenez (El Salvadorian) de Alcantara (Portuguese.) And, no, I am not French, German, El Salvadorian, or Portuguese (I am half Italian.) Oh, and I was born on St. Patrick’s Day (I am not Irish either.)
This blog is dedicated to the Sacred Heart of Jesus, the Immaculate Heart of Mary, and to the Holy Spirit Who keeps hearts aflame with the fire of God’s love.
